Unstuck is a three-month, highly personalised online program designed to help you design an intentional life. With a limited cohort of 20 participants, it combines proven techniques and structured accountability to support individuals in navigating personal and professional decisions. At Studio Ping Pong, I developed a brand identity system inspired by origami, built around the idea of folding, unfolding, and refolding into something new, mirroring the program’s focus on gradual, self-directed change.
The identity system for Unstuck was inspired by the idea that a single sheet of paper can be folded into many different forms, each revealing a new structure or possibility. Drawing from origami, the visual language explores how problems often have multiple faces to them, and how change can come not just from solving a problem, but from reframing it entirely. Through folding, unfolding, and rotating forms, the system reflects the program’s focus on self-reflection, perspective shifts, and gradual transformation.
The identity system explored the idea of a single strip of paper being folded in multiple ways, creating an evolving visual language rooted in origami. Different interpretations of folds and paper structures were carried across the website, deck templates and social media templates through icons, type treatments, layouts, and graphic elements. This allowed the system to feel dynamic and adaptable while still remaining visually connected throughout.
Alongside the digital identity, the system was extended into a set of print collaterals designed around folding and interaction. This included a stack of value cards and a custom box to hold them, shipping stickers, notebooks, postcards, and a folding welcome card that gradually revealed more information as it unfolded. A flexahedron also became part of the system, reinforcing the idea that perspectives can continuously shift and reveal new sides over time.
