This 2024 motion reel brings together a mix of stop motion, generative art, illustrative animation, and vector-based motion graphics. It’s a collection of short experiments and finished pieces that explore visual storytelling across different styles and techniques.
During my one-month internship as a Creative Director at DQ Labs in Bangalore, India, I led a team of five to create a 5-minute stop-motion animated educational video on the color wheel for DQ Labs' YouTube channel. We began by developing a script and creating a storyboard based on it. Throughout the production process, I made several improvisations to manage the timing and execution of complex shots, ensuring that the final video came together seamlessly.
As part of a college assignment during my semester exchange at MICA, I designed a motion graphic depicting the process of making and eating Pani Puri, an Indian chaat/street food. This motion graphic, created to accompany an article in the New York Times titled ‘Pani Puri: A Dribbly, Joyful Mess’ by Broti Gupta, was also my first introduction to After Effects.
